Digital Services Officer

As Digital Services (DS) Officer at FSSC, you are responsible for supporting internal and external colleagues as well as licensed partners (Certification Bodies) on all operational aspects related to IT services, infrastructure, and software applications. You will be part of operational meetings with colleagues and IT suppliers, where you'll proactively suggest improvements and support developments to further professionalize FSSC's IT systems.

Key Results Areas

  • Provide timely responses to IT-related questions from users.
  • Develop and maintain the IT knowledge base.
  • Deliver training on IT products to the Global Team, Partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support Portal and software product developments.
  • Manage IT suppliers and support other IT-related activities including website and Office 365.

The ideal Digital Services Officer combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. Your excellent communication abilities enable you to effectively train and support users at all levels, from internal colleagues to external partners. You have a natural talent for explaining technical concepts clearly and enjoy helping others maximize their use of IT systems.

Essential requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IT systems
  • Experience with application support (1st/2nd line)
  • Background in software development interaction
  • Process thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk/FreshService)
  • IT project management skills
  • Fluent English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with quality processes
  • Understanding of audit/certification systems
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
