FSSC will partake in World Food India 2024, showcasing the global FSSC 22000 certification Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems at its conference stand and during a thematic knowledge session.
World Food India 2024 will gather investors, manufacturers, producers, food processors, policy makers, and organizations from the global food ecosystem. The exhibition and conference aim to promote sustainable and healthful eating practices, address global food security challenges, support environmental sustainability, and cater to evolving consumer preferences for a healthier future.
FSSC will be at the event from 19 – 22 September, with an exhibition stand in conference Hall 1 at stand A 03.
The Foundation will also organize a knowledge session on Indian Food Processing for Global Tables: the Role of Food Safety Certification in Making India a 21st-century Food Industry Powerhouse.
The session will focus on the role of food safety certification in enhancing India’s food processing industry on the global stage. Experts will discuss strategies for meeting international standards, particularly for traditional and perishable foods, and the importance of consistent food safety measures in boosting export potential. Key topics include the challenges of certification, managing co-packers, and the benefits of implementing globally recognized Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) to ensure quality and compliance in international markets.
