In 2016, a working group of international stakeholders collaborated to develop a prerequisite program (PRP) for food safety in Transport and Storage. With the publication of version 4, this PRP extended the scope of the FSSC 22000 Scheme.
FSSC chaired and sponsored the working group. NEN facilitated the process and published the PRP as document NTA 8059:2016, ‘Prerequisite programs on food safety for transport and storage.’
