Delivering trust to our stakeholders and driving industry acceptance is crucial to the mission of FSSC and our schemes.

The FSSC 22000 scheme has received official recognition by the Global Food Safety Initiative since 2010. In addition, FSSC 22000 is also recognized by both the Dutch and French governments. This level of global benchmarking ensures that an independent body examines a scheme’s technical content and program management, oversight, and delivery.

In 2021, FSSC 22000 gained approval from the International Accreditation Forum.

We are proud of this significant recognition of the Foundation’s work by key stakeholders. It ensures that FSSC is meeting industry, government, and Certification and Accreditation Bodies’ expectations while providing a platform for continuous improvement of food management systems.
